the blizzard had some presents other than snow, and besides the fact that i still cant feel my feet, hands, or face, i had a lot of fun.

the calm

winter will finally show its face this week. i spent today preparing by taking pictures of my friends surf under bluebird skies.

(water) free time

today as my first real day of surfing this winter. ive had a few paddle-outs in fall and a handful in december, but today marked a fun swell, multi-hour surf session. today was a day that i was truly alone with the surf and my thoughts. i thought about a lot, but when it all comes down to it, i still only think about one thing.

finally got around to editing the footage from the trip to northern california last fall. very fun edit that reminds me of how awesome my friends are and how fortunate i am to have them
